Having traveled to Italy for many years, I grew fond of the charm found in old houses, despite the occasional discomfort. This inspired me to transform my 350-year-old villa into a harmonious blend of historic charm and modern comforts. Preserving its ageless appeal, the villa offers a unique experience where centuries-old tradition seamlessly coexists with contemporary luxury.
Even though I am German and have spent half of my life in the USA, my strong admiration for the Italian lifestyle, with its serene settings, rich culture, and delectable cuisine, is something I’m eager to share with you.

Arriving in Italy solo, I looked for a particular rental, not an Airbnb, but a cozy haven where I would feel at home, test the waters of living in this beautiful country and connect with others.
Since I could not find this, I took a leap of faith and bought this villa I now call Villa Solisera. It’s a tranquil location where you can lose yourself in the magic of the umbrian countryside.
At my villa, there are four self contained apartments. This place is all about sharing experiences, finding like minded people while respecting the need for personal space.
During my search for the perfect villa, I noticed that a lot of Italian rentals lack the comforts we’re used to, so I made sure to create a space that offers both modern confort and Italian authenticity.
