VILLA SOLISERA EXPERIENCES
These Booking Terms & Conditions apply to all Villa Solisera Experiences booked through WeTravel and form part of your booking agreement.
1. Booking Agreement
These Booking Terms & Conditions apply to all Villa Solisera Experiences. By making a booking, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
The booking contract is made between you (“the Guest”) and Villa Solisera. These Terms & Conditions form the entire agreement relating to your booking.
2. Booking Confirmation
Your booking is confirmed once your reservation has been completed through WeTravel, the required payment has been received, and this Booking Agreement has been electronically signed.
Villa Solisera Experiences require a minimum of four participants. Please do not book non-refundable flights or other travel arrangements until you have been notified that your experience has been been confirmed.
3. Deposits & Final Payment
A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your place.
The remaining balance is due no later than 60 days before the experience begins.
Bookings made within 60 days of the experience start date require full payment at the time of booking.
If payment is not received by the due date, Villa Solisera reserves the right to cancel your booking and retain your deposit.
4. Pricing
All experience prices are quoted in Euro (€). Payments are processed securely through WeTravel, which allows guests to pay in a variety of currencies depending on their location and payment method. The final amount charged in your local currency is determined by the applicable exchange rate and any fees charged by your bank, credit card provider, or payment provider. Villa Solisera is not responsible for currency exchange rates, conversion differences, or additional fees charged by financial institutions.
Prices are subject to change until your booking has been confirmed. Once your booking is confirmed, your experience price is guaranteed unless both parties agree to changes to the booking.
5. What’s Included
Your booking includes only the accommodation, activities, transportation, meals, and services specifically listed in your booking confirmation.
Unless specifically stated, the following are not included:
- International or domestic flights
- Airport transportation (unless specified)
- Travel insurance
- Passport or visa costs
- Meals and beverages not listed as included
- Personal purchases
- Optional activities
- Gratuities
- Any other expenses not specifically listed in your booking confirmation.
6. Guest Cancellation Policy
All cancellations must be made in writing and acknowledged by Villa Solisera.
More than 60 days before departure
Your deposit is non-refundable.
Any payments made beyond the deposit will be refunded.
Less than 60 days before departure
All payments are non-refundable.
This policy applies regardless of the reason for cancellation, including illness, travel delays, or personal circumstances. We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance that includes trip cancellation coverage.
7. Deposit Transfers
Deposits may be transferred to another scheduled Villa Solisera Experience within one year of the original experience date, subject to availability, provided:
- the request is received at least 90 days before the original experience begins;
- a €100 administrative transfer fee is paid; and
- the deposit has not previously been transferred.
Deposits may only be transferred once.
Guests may also transfer their booking to another person if Villa Solisera receives written notice at least 90 days before the experience begins and approves the transfer.
8. Cancellation by Villa Solisera
Villa Solisera reserves the right to cancel an experience if:
- the minimum number of participants is not reached;
- circumstances beyond our control make the experience impossible or unsafe to operate; or
- other exceptional circumstances arise.
If Villa Solisera cancels an experience before it begins, guests may choose either:
- a full refund of all payments made to Villa Solisera; or
- a transfer of all payments to another scheduled Villa Solisera Experience.
Villa Solisera is not responsible for additional expenses incurred by guests, including airline tickets, hotel reservations, visas, travel costs, loss of income, or other incidental expenses.
9. Changes to the Experience
Villa Solisera reserves the right to modify itineraries, accommodations, activities, transportation, schedules, or hosts when necessary due to weather, local events, supplier availability, safety considerations, or other unforeseen circumstances.
Any substitutions will be of a similar standard whenever reasonably possible. Participation in optional activities is voluntary.
10. Travel Insurance
Comprehensive travel insurance is required for all participants.
Your policy should include, at minimum:
Loss or theft of personal belongings
Emergency medical expenses
Medical evacuation and repatriation
Trip cancellation
Trip interruption
Personal liability
Villa Solisera is not responsible for medical expenses, travel disruptions, or losses that could have been covered by travel insurance.
11. Medical Conditions & Fitness
Guests are responsible for ensuring they are physically able to participate in the experience.
Our experiences involve walking through historic Italian towns, uneven streets, stairs, vineyards, olive groves, and other rural locations.
You agree to inform Villa Solisera before booking of any medical conditions, mobility limitations, dietary requirements, allergies, or other circumstances that may affect your participation.
While we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate special requirements, not all requests can be guaranteed.
12. Travel Documents
Guests are responsible for obtaining and carrying:
- a valid passport;
- any required visas;
- vaccination certificates or health documentation if required; and
- any other travel documents required by the countries visited.
Villa Solisera is not responsible for denied boarding, entry refusal, or costs arising from incomplete travel documentation.
13. Guest Responsibilities
Guests are expected to behave respectfully toward fellow participants, local residents, guides, suppliers, and property owners.
Villa Solisera reserves the right to remove any participant whose behavior is unsafe, illegal, abusive, disruptive, or negatively affects the experience of others.
No refund will be provided if a guest is removed from the experience for these reasons.
14. Photography & Media
During the experience, photographs and videos may be taken by Villa Solisera or authorized photographers.
These images may be used for promotional purposes, including our website, social media, newsletters, and marketing materials.
If you prefer not to appear in photographs or videos, please notify Villa Solisera in writing before the experience begins. We will make every reasonable effort to respect your request.
15. Liability
Villa Solisera exercises reasonable care in organizing its experiences but cannot guarantee against every unforeseen event.
Guests participate voluntarily and accept the inherent risks associated with travel, outdoor activities, transportation, walking on uneven terrain, and participation in local experiences.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Villa Solisera is not liable for losses, injuries, delays, damages, or additional expenses arising from:
- actions or omissions of third-party suppliers;
- weather conditions;
- natural disasters;
- strikes;
- transportation delays;
- government actions;
- illness;
- accidents beyond our reasonable control; or
- any other event that could not reasonably have been prevented.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability where such limitation is prohibited by applicable law.
16. Force Majeure
Villa Solisera shall not be liable for failure to perform its obligations where such failure results from events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, severe weather, pandemics, government restrictions, civil unrest, war, terrorism, labor disputes, transportation disruptions, or other force majeure events.
17. Privacy
Villa Solisera collects and uses personal information solely for the purpose of administering your booking and delivering the experience.
Your information may be shared with trusted suppliers only where necessary to provide services related to your booking.
Your personal information will never be sold to third parties.
18. Severability
If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
19. Governing Law
These Booking Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Italy.
Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Italian courts.
By booking an experience on the WeTravel platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Booking Terms & Conditions.
